NFPA Level II Chimney Inspection ~ starting at $250 These inspections are required for real estate transactions, insurance purposes and whenever there is a change in the use of the chimney flue or the connected appliance. Level II inspections include video inspection of the interior of the chimney flue as well as inspection of the attic and basement areas of the chimney. NFPA Level III Chimney Inspection ~ Priced per Quote Required when a Level I or Level II inspection warrents that a further, invasive, inspection must be performed to investigate suspected damage or other possible problems in hidden areas. .
